Watlington church, circa 1801; detail from a watercolour
We are a Benefice of four parishes in North West Norfolk: Watlington, Wormegay, Tottenhill, and Runcton Holme
The benefice is in an inter-regnum at present, without a resident priest. We are however being supported by retired clergy and neighbouring parish priests who lead Holy Communion services. When we do not have a priest available Morning Prayer is led by lay people. There is always a Sunday service at one of the churches in the benefice:* the venue and time of service is found on the calendar. Additionally, there is Morning Prayer led by lay people at Runcton Holme church on the first Thursday of the month, at 10am. We use Common Worship order one. Our hymns are from the New English Hymnal with worship songs from New Hymns and Worship Songs.
To arrange a baptism (christening), wedding or funeral please contact the churchwardens: their numbers can be found on the contact page.
*Toilet and kitchen facilities are at Watlington church, which also has disabled access and a hearing loop. There is plenty of parking at all the churches.
